This study aims to determine the effect of Intellectual Capital consisting of
Value Added Capital Employed (VACA), Value Added Human Capital (VAHU) and
Structural Capital Value Added (STVA) on profitability, market value, growth, and
productivity of the company.
The population in this study is the Food and Beverage companies listed in
Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2011-2014. Sampling using purposive
sampling sampling on the basis of suitability characteristics, in order to obtain a
sample of 12 companies during the year of observation by 48 observation. Data
analysis techniques used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis with
significant level of 5%.
The results showed that the Intellectual capital has a significant positive
effect on profitability, Employed capital (VACA) has a significant positive effect on
profitability, Human capital (VAHU) has a significant positive effect on profitability,
Structural Capital (STVA) has a positive effect no significant effect on profitability,
Intellectual capital has a significant positive effect on the market value, Employed
capital (VACA) has a positive and significant impact on the market value, Human
capital (VAHU) significant negative effect on the market value, Structural Capital
(STVA) positive effect was not significant for the market value, Intellectual capital
has a significant positive effect on the company's growth, capital Employed (VACA)
has a significant positive effect on the growth of the company. Human capital
(VAHU) has a significant positive effect on the growth of the company. Structural
Capital (STVA) significant negative effect on the growth of the company, Intellectual
capital positive effect no significant effect on productivity, Employed capital
(VACA) positive effect no significant effect on productivity, Human capital (VAHU)
positive effect no significant effect on productivity, and Structural Capital ( STVA)
no significant positive effect on productivity.
