Background: Menarche is the first period that occurs in the early teenage years. Menarche causes hormonal changes that will influence the physical and psychological changes. The anxiety in facing menarche occurs due to lack of knowledge about the physiological process of menarche. Hence, menarche often sounds shameful and frightening. The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of health education about menarche towards the reduction of the level of anxiety of female students at Tugu State Primary School 01 Sayung Demak.
Method: This study was a Quasi Experimental with one group pre-post test design. The data collection used questionnaire i.e. Revised Children's Manifest Anxiety Scale
