Abstract

This research aims to analyze the process of Quranic memorization and determine the effectiveness of the "Four Circles (Halaqat) per Day" system at the Manba'ul Qur'an Boarding School, under the State Islamic Senior High School (MAN) Demak. This field study employs a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques included searching, organizing, presenting, and drawing conclusions.
The results indicate that the implementation of the "Four Circles per Day" system significantly impacts student motivation and the mastery of their memorization. This method contributes to building a supportive environment and encouraging discipline, aligning with the religious and ethical foundations of Islamic education. The approach emphasizes direct interaction (talaqqi) between the student and the teacher, which is a key factor in ensuring the accuracy of recitation.
