Abstract

Reward and punishment methods are a form of love that God gives to His servants whom He teaches through the Qur'an and Sunnah. In addition, this method also teaches that there will be a balance between reward and punishment. Giving rewards and punishments is expected to influence the disciplinary action of a child, both a child and an adult. Discipline it self is a key person in achieving success, both success in the world and in the hereafter. One case that must be disciplined in its implementation is discipline in worship as God has commanded through His Messenger. If worship is maintained and carried out properly and discipline, then other work becomes regular and life feels happy. Around the past two years, one of the educational institutions in the city of Semarang precisely in the Integrated Islamic Elementary School Nurul Iman Semarang tried to implement activities through the application of reward and punishment methods in the discipline of students' worship. These activities will hopefully help familiarize students to always be disciplined in their worship both at school, at home and in the community. Moreover, these activities are also expected to help achieve one of the school's visions, namely the formation of noble character. Thus, this study was conducted to find information related to planning, implementing, and evaluating these activities which later other educators can take lessons and can imitate the good side.
