Abstract

Heritage Hall is an implementation unit in the field of law enforcement inheritance and guardianship, which is structurally under the Civil Directorate, Directorate General of Legal Administration, Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia. One of the tasks of the Center for Heritage is managing the neglected treasures.
The purpose of this study were: 1) to determine the position of Hall Heritage in the System of Civil Law in Indonesia, 2) to determine the organization and management of legacy neglected by the Center for Heritage, 3) to determine the barriers Hall Heritage in the management of legacy slipshod and completion efforts.
The method used in this research is empirical juridical approach, a method of legal research that serves to see the law in terms of real and researching as the working of the law in society.
Position Heritage Hall was recognized as an institution or agency of the state in the field of civil law, which is to represent and take care of the interests of the people because of the law or the judge's decision can not run their own interests based on the legislation in force. Slipshod management of inheritance can be done by way of lease or sell treasures unkempt. Barriers that often occur is lack of funds to care for neglected treasures of old that needs to be fixed. Such constraints resolved by Heritage Hall immediately sell the treasures unkempt. In addition to the regulations governing the implementation of the tasks Heritage Hall now many are not in accordance with the conditions of the law of progress. The Center for Heritage to propose to the authorities to immediately ratify the Draft Law Heritage Hall.
