Abstract

Pembangunan gedung dengan struktur baja di Indonesia saat ini didominasi dengan bangunan dengan struktur beton dan penggunaan bahan bangunan baja sebagai struktur utama sangat jarang. Oleh karena itu perancangan gedung dengan struktur baja perlu ditingkatkan. Tujuan dari Tugas Akhir ini yaitu untuk mendesain ulang sesuai dengan peraturan struktur baja yang berlaku di SNI baja dan membandingkan dengan gedung yang sudah ada. Tower buil – 2015 regarding specifications for structural steel buildings and SNI 1726 – 2019 regarding procedures for planning earthquake resistance for building and non- building structures and SNI 1727 – 2018 containing minimum load requirements for planning buildings and other structures.

Based on the results obtained after redesigning the building using a steel structure in the 9-storey Semarang University Tower building, the ratio results that have met the safe requirements based on SNI 1729 - 2015.
