Abstract

Speaking politely is very important in communicating, because with polite language the speaker is able to convey intentions easily understood and conveyed properly. The use of polite language needs to be improved by youth essays, especially high school students in class XII so they can pay more attention to the politeness of language when communicating or arguing both in real life or cyberspace. social instagram in Indozone.id's caption comments? (2) How is the maxim of violation of politeness maxim in teenagers on Instagram social media users in indozone.id's caption comments? (3) What are the implications for learning to write opinions in class XII of high school ?. The research method is a type of qualitative research. Research data uses comment data on Indozone.id's Instagram site. Data collection techniques using transcription techniques and note taking techniques. The data analysis technique used is the matching method.
Based on the results of research and discussion found compliance and violation of politeness principles 1) Forms of Compliance with the Principle of Politeness in the comments contained 23 data. The Maximum Wisdom of 3 comments. The maximum generosity of 2 comments. Maksim Praise, as many as 7 comments. Max politeness as much as 2 comments. The maximum agreement is 2 comments. Maximum sympathizers as much as 8 comments. 2) Forms of Violence on Politeness Principle in the comments there are 28 data. Maximum Wisdom, based on Instagram data comments that go into violation of Maximum Wisdom are 6 comments. Maximum Generosity of 3 comments. Maximum Praise as much as 5 comments. Max politeness as much as 11 comments. Maximum Agreement of 1 comment. Maximum sympathizers as much as 4 comments. 3) The Implication of Opinion Writing Learning in Class XII High School with Indonesian language learning based on opinion writing material is in learning activities, the teacher can imply it on basic competencies namely by preparing a learning implementation plan (RPP) and using Instagram social media in indozone caption comments as Examples of opinions that pay attention to language use.
