Abstract

This thesis discusses the relationship between the leadership coordination of principals and the work ethic of religious teachers at MTs Al Muhariyyah Demak. The research objective of this study was to determine the great relationship between democratic leadership and the
ethos of religious teachers at MTs Al Muhariyyah Demak.
This research was conducted at MTs Al Muhariyyah Demak. The subject was a religious teacher who handed over 6 people at MTs Al Muhariyyah Demak. The method used is the quantitative research method, which is supported by data collection through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The distribution of questionnaires contained 50 questions, 25
questions about leadership style leadership and 25 items about the work ethic of religious teachers. This questionnaire was distributed to respondents, namely religious teachers at MTs Al Muhariyyah Demak. Questionnaire answers are calculated using correlational formulas and calculated descriptively. Now to find out whether there is a relationship between democratic leadership and the work ethic of religious teachers, use the product moment formula. With the average value of the results of the principals' leadership questionnaire the average value in the
category is quite good from the average of 168.83 in the interval 167.3 - 173.8. the work ethic of religious teachers and the results of applying leadership of principals with integrity or selection in quite good categories. Evidenced from the average data obtained reached 165.66 at intervals of 164.5 - 170.6. With a confidence level of 99% the relationship of democratic leadership to the work ethic of MTs Al Muariyyah Demak religion in the Academic Year
2018/2019, on the working hypothesis, because the results of the hypothesis test rxy = 17,285 at the level of trust or significant 5% using rt = 0,811 on the working hypothesis accepted, because the results of the hypothesis test rxy = 17,285 which means that the relationship between leadership that collided with the work ethic of religious teachers at MTs Al Muhariyyah Demak Academic Year 2018/2019 is very good.
