Abstract

Soft skill merupakan kebutuhan manusia yang paling penting termasuk untuk
mahasiswa PAI yang nantinya akan menjadi seorang pendidik. Adapun rumusan
masalah yang ada dalam penelitian ini adalah: 1). Soft skill apa saja yang harus
dimiliki mahasiswa PAI di Jurusan Tarbiyah Fakultas Agama Islam Unissula
Semarang sebagai calon guru, 2). Bagaimana pengembangan soft skill mahasiswa
PAI di Jurusan Tarbiyah Fakultas Agama Islam Unissula Semarang, 3). Bagaimana
soft skill mahasiswa PAI di Jurusan Tarbiyah Fakultas Agama Islam Unissula
Semarang. kemudian penulisan skripsi ini bertujuan untuk: 1). Untuk mengetahui
soft skill apa saja yang harus dimiliki mahasiswa PAI di Jurusan Tarbiyah Fakultas
Agama Islam Unissula Semarang sebagai calon guru, 2). Untuk menggambarkan
pengembangan soft skill mahasiswa PAI di Jurusan Tarbiyah Fakultas Agama Islam
Unissula Semarang, 3). Untuk menggambarkan soft skill mahasiswa PAI di Jurusan
Tarbiyah Fakultas Agama Islam Unissula Semarang.
Jenis penelitian ini adalah field research atau penelitian lapangan
menggunakan pedekatan kualitatif. Populasinya adalah dosen Tarbiyah FAI dan
seluruh mahasiswa PAIf aktif yang berjumlah 520 mahasiswa yang terdiri dari 4
angkatan (2014-2017). Teknik pengambilan sample menggunakan purpossive
sampling. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, kuesioner,
dan dokumentasi. Kemudian data tersebut di analisis dengan menggunakan analisis
pendekatan kualitatif. Dalam hal ini melewati tiga langkah analisis yang ketiganya di
jadikan satu artinya tidak di buat per poin, tiga hal itu diantaranya: Soft skill apa saja
yang harus dimiliki mahasiswa PAI di Jurusan Tarbiyah Fakultas Agama Islam
Unissula Semarang sebagai calon guru, Bagaimana pengembangan soft skill
mahasiswa PAI di Jurusan Tarbiyah Fakultas Agama Islam Unissula Semarang,
Bagaimana soft skill mahasiswa PAI di Jurusan Tarbiyah Fakultas Agama Islam
Unissula Semarang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwasanya “Pengembangan
soft skill mahasiswa PAI sejauh ini sudah di jalankan berdasarkan apa yang di
rencanakan oleh pihak yang berwenang yakni dosen, kajur dan ormawa-ormawa
yang ada di fakultas, namun hasil yang didapatkan kurang maksimal karena masih
tingginya sifat apatis yang dimiliki mahasiswa terhadap kegiatan-kegiatan yang
diadakan fakultas maupun ormawa yang berkaitan dengan pengembangan soft skill
meskipun sudah ada aturan dalam SKK tentang adanya aturan wajib mengikuti
kegiatan-kegiatan semacam itu, salah satu alasannya adalah karena mereka belum
melihat secara nyata akibat dari tidak mematuhi aturan yang berlaku”.

Soft skills are the most important human needs, including for PAI students
who will later become educators. The formulation of the problems in this study are:
1). What soft skills should PAI students have in the Tarbiyah Department of Islamic
Religion Unissula Semarang as prospective teachers, 2). How to develop soft skills
of PAI students in the Tarbiyah Department of Islamic Religion Unissula Semarang,
3). How is the soft skill of PAI students in Tarbiyah Department of Islamic Religion
Unissula Semarang. then the writing of this thesis aims to: 1). To find out what soft
skills PAI students must have in the Tarbiyah Department of Islamic Religion
Unissula Semarang as prospective teachers, 2). To illustrate the soft skill
development of PAI students in the Tarbiyah Department of the Islamic Faculty of
Unissula Semarang, 3). To illustrate the soft skills of PAI students in the Tarbiyah
Department of Islamic Religion Unissula Semarang.

This type of research is field research or qualitative research using
qualitative approach. The population is Tarbiyah FAI lecturers and all active PAIf
students totaling 520 students consisting of 4 generations (2014-2017). The sampling
technique uses purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using interviews,
observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Then the data is analyzed using a
qualitative approach analysis. In this case, it passes through three steps of analysis,
the three of which are made one meaning, not made per point, three of them are:
What soft skills should PAI students have in the Tarbiyah Department of the Islamic
Faculty Unissula Semarang as prospective teachers, How to develop student soft
skills PAI in the Tarbiyah Department of the Islamic Faculty of Unissula Semarang,
How is the soft skill of PAI students in the Tarbiyah Department of Islamic Religion
Unissula Semarang. The results of this study indicate that "PAI soft skills
development so far has been run based on what is planned by the authorities, namely
lecturers, faculty and students in the faculty, but the results obtained are less than
optimal because of the high apathy owned by students towards activities held by
faculties and organizations related to the development of soft skills even though
there are already rules in the SKK regarding the existence of rules that are obliged to
take part in such activities, one reason is because they have not seen the real result of
not complying with the rules apply ".
