ABSTRACT
The thesis with the title "Effectiveness of Criminal Investigation through Complaints of Cases in the Legal Area of Central Java Regional Police" The background of writing this thesis is 1) What reasons was issued by PERDIR General Criminal Investigation of Central Java Regional Police Number 2 of 2015 concerning Case Complaints? 2) What is the procedure for the Investigation of Crimes Through the Complaint of a Case in the Legal Area of the Central Java Regional Police based on PERDIR General Criminal Investigation of the Central Java Regional Police Number 2 of 2015 concerning a Case Complaint? 3) What are the benefits of the effectiveness of the Criminal Investigation Through the Complaint of a Case in the Legal Area of the Central Java Regional Police based on PERDIR General Criminal Investigation of Central Java Regional Police Number 2 of 2015 concerning the Case Complaint?
The research method used in this study uses empirical juridical research, namely the type of sociological legal research and can also be referred to as field research, which examines the applicable legal provisions and what happens in reality in society. In this study, the law is conceptualized as an empirical phenomenon that can be observed in real life.
The results of this study using the sociological juridical method concluded that: 1) The reason for the issuance of the Central Java Regional Police General Criminal Investigation Bureau Number 2 of 2015 concerning Case Complaint Holdings because in the public complaint data shows the number of public complaint reports that need to be handled by the Central Java Regional Police. 2) The procedure for investigating criminal acts through a Case Complaint in the Central Java Regional Police in the procedural acceptance of a public complaint letter at the Central Java Regional Police level is explained in detail in Article 4 of the Central Java Regional Police Criminal Investigation Number 2 of 2015 concerning Complaints The cases are as follows: a) The complaint letter is submitted by the complainant / legal counsel or sent through a third party service. b) Bagwassidik then makes a Plan to Hold a Case Complaint; c) the results of the title of the complaint on the case / recommendation are then reported to Dirreskrimum with a copy to Bagbinops by Bagwassidik through the Official Note. 3) Benefits of the Effectiveness of Criminal Investigation Through Complaints of Cases in the Central Java Regional Police Region Based on the Perdir of the General Criminal Investigation of Central Java Regional Police Number 2 of 2015 There are at least ten joint services that must be carried out by agencies or work units in a department: a) Simplicity ; b) Clarity; c) Certainty; d) Accuracy e) Process Security; f) Responsibilities of Service Provider Leaders g) Completeness of Facilities and Infrastructure Availability, h) Ease of Access Place and Location i) Discipline, Decency, and Friendliness of Service Providers j) Convenience The service environment must be orderly, orderly,
