This study has the objective to determine the relationship between self-acceptance with social adjustment to the freshmen at the Islamic University of Sultan Agung Semarang. This research was conducted on 230 freshmen by using cluster random sampling method. The method used in this research is quantitative method. Data collection was performed by 2 scale, the scale of social adjustment amounted to 20 aitem and scale numbered 42-item self-acceptance. Differences in the scale of social adjustment ranged from 0.341-0.646 with reliability estimation of 0.841. Different self-acceptance scale ranges from 0.321-0.596 with reliability estimate of 0.906. Hypothesis in this research using product-moment correlation analysis technique. The result of hypothesis test shows that there is a very significant positive relationship between self-acceptance with social adjustment obtained rxy = 0,652 with significance level p = 0,000 (p <0,01). Self-acceptance provides effective contribution of 42.5% can be seen from the coefficient of determination (r2) of 0,425 and the rest influenced by other variables outside the research.
