Abstract
Back ground : Excellent service is an important component in hospitals and health units. However, hospitals are required to provide health services that meet optimal service standards. Nurses are the most frequent health professionals interacting directly with clients.
Method : The research design used was cross sectional, where the variables including risk factor and variables including the effect factor were observed simultaneously at the same time. The population in this study were all patients in the inpatient room in January 2018 which is being hospitalized at Sultan Agung Islamic Hospital of Semarang, the population is an average of 147 total bed. This study uses the method of determining the sample by the method of proportionate random sampling, namely determination by using the calculation of the respondent division by random way each inpatient room.
Result : The results showed that most of the patients stated that the nurse had a good attitude (50.5%), while the patient stated that the performance was good (51.4%) and most patients were satisfied (52.3%). Based on Chi-Square test it is known that there is relationship of nurse attitude with patient satisfaction at Sultan Agung Semarang Islamic Hospital (p-value 0,000 <0,05). In addition also is know there is a relationship of nurse performance with patient satisfaction at Islamic Hospital Sultan Agung Semarang (p-value 0,000 <0,05)
Conclusion : There is a relationship attitude and performance of nurse with patient satisfaction
