Abstract

The aims of the study was to get the students’ perception about the impact of learning environment towards their achievement on English lesson. The writer used cluster sampling technique in collecting the data and questionnaire as the instrument of the study. The questionnaire was distributed to the sample which was the students of class XI IPA.1 that were 27 students. The writer tabulated the data using Microsoft excel and SPSS v.23.0 in order to know the results statistically. The results showed that the learning environment had impact to the students’ achievement on English lesson. It was proved by the statistical data of questionnaire Likert scale that most of the respondents give the response in scale of “4” which meant they agreed with the statements on the questionnaire about the impact of learning environent towards their achievement on English lesson. Therefore, it could be concluded that learning environment had impact to the students’ achievement on English lesson whether it wass good or not. It depended on their views to the learning environment. Keywords: learning environment, perception, students’ English achievement
