Abstract
Criminology Role In Child Victims of Sexual Abuse Protection (Case Study in Police Resort Large City of Semarang Semarang). This research aims to identify and analyze the role of criminology in protecting child victims of sexual abuse at the Police Resort Large City of Semarang, to identify and analyze the obstacles that occur in the application of the science of criminology in handling cases of sexual abuse against children in the Police Resort Large City of Semarang, and to know and analyze the effort to overcome the obstacles that occur in the application of the science of criminology in the handling of cases of child sexual abuse in Police Resort Large City of Semarang. This research used socio-juridical data collection techniques, primary data and secondary data obtained directly from interviews with police, Unit PPA Police Resort Large City of Semarang is those responsible and directly relevant in addressing sexual harassment and the research literature, and then analyzed using qualitative data. The results of this research indicate that the causes of sexual abuse of children in the city of Semarang largely on sexual disorders perpetrators and technological advances that are not used properly, not only that, the factor of the association that increasingly free also can lead to sexual abuse of children in the city of Semarang , due to the rampant sexual abuse of children make Large City of Police Resort Semarang increasingly seek to mitigate them. Efforts undertaken Large City of Police Resort Semarang to overcome the sexual abuse of children in the city of Semarang such as to socialize the importance of the protection of children and cooperation with the agencies of other communities for the sake of the ongoing security of the child's life.
