Abstract

Background : Degree is a pride and a challenge for students. To get an academic degree students have to complete a final project or thesis. Although in the process of doing on their thesis students often get a problem which eventually trigger anxiety. Self-efficacy refers to an individual's belief in his ability to carry out activities in order to achieve the expected results. Individuals who have high self-efficacy will not easily feel burdened and have a good ability to control situations, so that they do not easily feel anxious. Method : This research was a type of quantitative research with cross-sectional design. The Data were collected by using questionnaire. The number of participants was 229 people with total sampling technique. This research using a total sampling technique. The data obtained was processed using the Somers'D test Results : The results showed that of the 229 research respondents, the majority were female (89.1%) and male (10.9%). Efficacy Level High (52%), medium (46.7%), and low (3%). Levels of mild anxiety (48.5%), panic (21.4%), moderate (19.7), and severe (10.5%). Conclusion : There is a relationship between Self-Efficacy and Anxiety Level, with a weak relationship. Keywords: anxiety, self-efficacy, students, thesis Bibliographies: 65 (2018-2022)
