Abstract
Taken movie that was released in 2008, directed by Pierre Morel. He able to bring the feeling of the audience in following the storyline. The mixed feelings of main character Bryan struggling alone to save his daughter. This research discussed how Bryan's personality affected, while he rescuing his daughter from the Albanian kidnappers. The research used qualitative research methodology. The primary data take the object from the movie and the movie script titled Taken directed by Pierre Morel. The secondary data was taken from online media (internet), such as journal, book, and articles. The data was collected by watching the movie, reading the movie script, identifying, classifying, and reducing the data into list of form, or appendice. This research used the personality approach by Jung’s theory to analyze the data. The results of this research, the researcher found that the object of the Taken movie, tells about the rescue of his daughter by Bryan, where the incident affected his archetypal personality, such as use a mask or fake image, Persona, and the bad side, Shadow.
