Abstract

Kawasan industri di Kecamatan Pringapus merupakan salah satu kawasan perkembangan industri yang sudah ditetapkan dalam RTRW kabupaten semarang sebagai kawasan industri, Perkembangan suatu industri yang cukup tinggi di wilayah Kelurahan Pringapus yang akan ada dampaknya terhadap tingginya permintaan lahan baik sebagai aktivitas industri maupun aktivitas pendukung lainnya, yang akan berdampak pula pada terjadinya perubahan lahan di . Dari perkembangan industri tersebut terjadi peningkatan jumlah pendatang yakni tenaga kerja industri terutama yang berasal dari luar kota memerlukan pemenuhan kebutuhan tempat tinggal. Dampak tersebut mengubah fungsi rumah disekitar kawasan tersebut menjadi ruang ekonomi sebagai tempat usaha dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan pendatang karyawan pabrik. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori yaitu, fungsi rumah, dan pemanfaatan ruang. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan metode Kualitatif, teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu Komparasi dan Verifikasi. Sasaran dalam penelitian yaitu membandingkan fungsi rumah sebelum perkembangan di sekitar kawasan industri dengan setelah perkembangan disekitar kawasan industri, mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan berubahnya fungsi rumah menjadi ruang ekonomi, dan mengetahui bentuk perubahan fungsi rumah secara fisik disekitar kawasan industri. Hasil penelitian ini terbentuknya ruang-ruang baru dalam permukiman disekitar kawasan industri, ruang baru tersebut berupa ruang ekonomi, dan ruang lain seperti ruang pelengkap dalam menjalankan usaha berbasis rumah atau Home Based Enterpris. Kata Kunci : kawasan industri, perubahan fungsi rumah, ruang ekonomi Abstrac The industrial area in Pringapus District is one of the industrial development areas that has been defined in the Spatial Plans (RTRW) of Semarang Regency as an industrial area. The development of an industry that is quite high in the Pringapus Village area will have an impact on the high demand for land both as industrial activities and other supporting activities, which will also have an impact on land changes. From these industrial developments, there is an increase in the number of migrants, namely industrial workers, especially those from outside the city who need to meet the needs of housing. This impact changed the function of houses around the area into an economic space as a place of business in meeting the needs of factory employees. This study uses the theory, namely, the function of the house, and the use of space. The research was conducted using a qualitative method approach, the analytical technique used is Comparison and Verification. The targets of this study are to compare the function of the house before and after the development around the industrial area, to find out the factors that cause the change in the function of the house to become an economic space, and to know the form of changes in the physical function of the house around the industrial area. The results of this study are the formation of new spaces in settlements around industrial areas, the new space in the form of economic space, and other spaces such as complementary spaces in running a home-based business or Home Based Enterprise.
