Abstract
Humans as social beings need language as a communication tool. Communication not only conveys language through words and sentences but also behavior and speech acts. Speech acts occur with specific intentions and objectives and can exert influence on the speech partner. The purpose of the speech is an effort to achieve a desired result of the speaker to the speech partner to do something, therefore researchers are interested in doing research on the Insyaallah Sah Film. This research is entitled "Acts of Directives of Raka Figures in the Insyaallah Sah Karya Film by Benni Setiawan". The purpose of this study are (1) to describe the form of directive speech acts of Raka's character in the Insyaallah Sah creation by Benni Setiawan, (2) to describe the function of the directive speech acts of Raka's character in the Insyaallah Sah creation by Benni Setiawan. The data used in this study are in the form of the speech of Raka in the film Insyaallah Sah. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using note note technique. Based on the results of research and discussion, researchers found (1) the form of directive speech acts of Raka in the film Insyaallah Sah Karya Benni Setiawan data obtained amounted to 58 utterances, consisting of 13 forms of command speech acts, 12 forms of request speech acts, 2 forms of speech acs solicitation, 27 forms of speech acts of advice, 2 forms of speech acts of criticism, and 4 forms of speech acts of prohibitin.. (2) directive speech act function of Raka character in the film Insyaallah Sah Karya Benni Setiawan the data obtained are 5 sending functions, 1 forcing function, 7 inviting functions,6 requesting functions, 3 invoking functions, 3 offering functions, 2 inviting functions, 4 advising functions, 2 suggesting functions, 5 suggesting functions, 15 reminding functions, 1 calling function, 1 calling function insinuating, 1 rebuke and 2 prohibit functions.
