Abstract
Keywords: speech, mixed code, vlog This study is entitled "Code Mixing in Bayu Skak Vlog Speech, May-July 2019 Edition" This study was reviewed by researchers because of the mixed form of code used by Bayu Skak. In addition, take the character Bayu Skak because he is one of the famous YouTuber in Indonesia by bringing the characteristics of the region and the typical language of East Java. The purpose of this study is to describe the mixed forms of the code in the May-July 2019 edition of Bayu Skak's vlog. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The approach used is sociolinguistics with mixed code studies. Data and data sources were obtained from Bayu Skak's vlog from May-July 2019, as many as 5 videos with a total duration of 120 minutes over 55 seconds. This qualitative research with the aim of describing the form of code mixing in the Bayu Skak vlog produces 76 data. The code mixed form is code mixing in the form of insertion of 43 data words, the form or form of code mixing in the form of phrases of 12 data, the form or form of mixed code in the form of 4 data baster, the form or form of code mixing in the form of repetition of words of 12 data, and the form of or the form of mixed code in the form of clause as much as 5 data. The more dominant form of code mixing is code mixing in the form of word insertion and the occurrence is more dominant due to changes in the topic of conversation.
