Abstract

English is an international language which is needed in working field. Therefore, it is important for the students of SMK to be able to master English, because they are expected to compete in the work field after they are graduated. To be able to master English, the students need motivation in learning it. This research aimed to know whether the aspects influence the students’ motivation in learning English. The respondents on this research were from 11th graders of Marketing and Accounting class. The form of the research used descriptive qualitative method. The data was collected by interview. The result showed that the motivation was influenced from the aspects of teacher, classroom environment, peers (classmates) and, communicating the learning goal. Keywords: English, the Influence of Classroom Environment on Students’ Learning Motivation.
