Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana implementasi metode Ummi dalam pembelajaran membaca al-Qur’an di SD Islam Diponegoro Surakarta. Serta efektivitas metode Ummi dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca peserta didik di sekolah tersebut. Tujuan umum dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan implementasi metode Ummi dalam pembelajaran al-Qur’an di SD Islam Diponegoro Surakarta dan menggambarkan efektivitas penerapan metode Ummi dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca al-Qur’an siswa di SD Islam Diponegoro Surakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif jenis penelitian lapangan, dalam penelitian ini peneliti diharuskan melakukan pengamatan langsung di lapangan. subjek pada penelitian ini adalah guru al-Qur’an. Metode wawancara digunakan untuk mencatat percakapan atau jawaban dari informan baik dari guru al-Qur’an, koordinator, siswa maupun kepala sekolah. Metode dokumentasi digunakan untuk memperoleh data tentang nama guru, jumlah siswa, pembagian kelompok Ummi, nilai pembelajaran al-Qur’an (nilai harian, UTS dan UAS), dan sarana fisik serta situasi pelaksanaan metode Ummi dalam pembelajaran al-Qur’an. Metode observasi digunakan untuk memperoleh data tentang implementasi guru dalam pembelajaran al-Qur’an dengan metode Ummi. Metode tes digunakan untuk memperoleh data tentang keterampilan siswa dalam membaca al-Qur’an. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa, implementasi metode Ummi di SD Islam Diponegoro Surakarta dalam pembelajaran al-Qur’an meliputi 3 tahapan pembelajaran, yaitu : tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap penilaian. Sedangkan efektivitas metode Ummi dalam pembelajaran al-Qur’an sangat baik/efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca al-Qur’an. Siswa lebih terampil dalam membaca al-Qur’an sesuai dengan kaidah ilmu tajwid, makhorijul khuruf, serta dengan irama yang khas. Kata kunci: metode Ummi, implementasi, evektivitas. ABSTRACT Researchers : Malikah NIM : MpdI 1516111049 The Effectiveness of the Ummi Method in Improving the Reading Skills of the Qur'an (Case Study at Diponegoro Islamic Elementary School Surakarta); Masters in Islamic Education Postgraduate Program Year 2018 The problem in this study is how to implement the Ummi method in learning to read al-Qur'an in the Diponegoro Islamic Elementary School in Surakarta. As well as how effective the Ummi method is in improving students' reading skills at the school. The general purpose of this study was to describe the application of the Ummi method in learning the Koran at the Diponegoro Islamic Elementary School in Surakarta and illustrate the effectiveness of the Ummi method in improving al-Qur'an reading skills of students at the Diponegoro Islamic Elementary School in Surakarta. This study uses qualitative methods of the type of field research, in this study researchers are required to make direct observations in the field. the subject in this study was the teacher of the Qur'an. The interview method is used to record conversations or answers from informants from both the Qur'an teacher, coordinator, students and principals. The documentation method is used to obtain data about the name of the teacher, the number of students, the division of the Ummi group, the learning value of the Qur’an (daily values, UTS and UAS), and physical facilities and the situation of Ummi method implementation in the learning of the Qur’an. The observation method is used to obtain data about the implementation of the teacher in learning the Koran using the Ummi method. Test methods are used to obtain data about students' skills in reading the Qur'an. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that, the implementation of the Ummi method at the Diponegoro Islamic Elementary School in Surakarta in the learning of the Koran includes 3 stages of learning, namely: the planning stage, implementation stage, the evaluation stage. While the effectiveness of the Ummi method in learning the Qur’an is very good / effective in improving the reading skills of the Qur’ran. Students are more skilled at reading the Qur’an in accordance with the rules of tajwid, makhorijul khuruf, and with a distinctive rhythm. Keywords: Ummi method, implementation, effectiveness
